Review Submission Rules

Vintage, Retro, Classic, Pinup, and Modern vintage/retro sites only! For your site to be reviewed, it must have a strong vintage or retro bent. Modern pin ups done in a vintage style are acceptable (see Martha's Girls for a great example of this). If you do not have an affiliate program, I request a link back to Vintage Porn Review.

I am setting up sections for niches that would appeal to vintage traffic, so if you have stockings, lingerie, uniform, natural, erotic art, for women, mature, or hairy sites drop me a line.

Reviews are NOT promo reviews. If you do not want me to critque and criticize if I find fucked up stuff, then don't bother letting me in. I'm here to provide the best of the best in old time porn sites - not to lie through my teeth to make a little bit extra or get a higher ratio.

If you want to know my personal preferences before you submit your site for review, it's pretty simple. I enjoy quality content that I can't find elsewhere, I like sites that have personality and extras that let you see inside the person's head that set up the site, and I like things that work.

I can't stand sites that are in huge networks that all have the same one or two templates - network access is fine, and getting a bargain for the money is always good - but if the sites are barely more than AVS level, I'm not going to be happy. In those cases, I'll normally rate the sites based on their network access instead of their individual merits.

I rate sites on a number of criteria, and I'll try to give credit where it's due (and I can also provide personal critques on demand, if you would like to make site improvements) even if I don't personally like the site. The first thing I look at is the design: Does it work with the niche, is it easy on the eye, how is the layout? This leads into the next related area, navigation. Far too many pornsites make it extremely difficult to find everything or get around the site, so this is a pretty important aspect in my book.

Next up is the content sections: Pictures, Movies, and Magazine. I'll look for the content quality, the download and viewing options, whether it's exclusive or not, etc.

Speed pertains to login speed, site browsing speed, and downloading speed. This normally isn't a big section unless the speed absolutely sucks (and if you have servers based overseas, just let me know so I know the reason for the slower response time).

Originality covers whether the site has exclusive content, the design, and the site concept.

Bonus Fun covers third party plugins, as well as content types that aren't covered in the movies pictures magazine section.

Annoyances is just what it is - this is where I list what pisses me off about the site. If you'd like to hear what has angered me in specific, I'll be happy to prepare a seperate report for your eyes only. This isn't a consultation or anything of the sort, but just based on my experience from porn surfing and site reviewing.
